Most of the videos here are Bible reviews. I'm more interested in the visual than the tactile interaction; typeface, paper quality, and layout matter more to me than hide and binding. Most of the Bibles I review I bought myself or they were given to me by relatives. In these reviews, I try to provide you with the details I wish I'd known myself before I bought the book. You will likely disagree with me on some things, especially if you like bright red letters and skinny gray fonts; references at the bottom of the page; or if you insist that all Bibles be in a single-column, paragraph-by-paragraph format.
I've been criticized for being critical of Bibles! But my goal is to provide the Bible-buying public with information to help them decide how to spend their hard-earned money. That necessarily includes showing flaws and imperfections.

Late to this video but I think faithfulness in Ephesians 2 refers to the faithfulness of Jesus, not us. Other scriptures would suggest this. Rom 3:22, 26 Gal 2:16, 20 Eph 3:12 Phil 3:9 Literal translations will read “faithfulness OF Jesus Christ” He was faithful because we were not and could not be. He is out portion and we bring nothing to the table, not even our own mustered up faith. It’s the gift of God. Thank you for the review!
does the oxford edition stay open on its own unlike the pocket edition one?
My hardback copy stays open from about page 50 forward.

The most impressive thing about this presentation is that you still have your receipt from 1986.
Text is too small.
The 2016 Gideons ESV edition already uses the 2016 ESV text. Perhaps it would be better if you could use that to compare with the regular Crossway ESV 2016 text instead of the 2013 Gideons ESV, which use the 2011 ESV text as its base.
Which Douay-Rheims Bible do you recommend as far readability and quality?
Thanks for the question, but I haven't seen the Baronius Press edition. It may be much better than this one.
